Hyderabad’s Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen set a huge target of 277 runs for Mumbai with their stormy batting. Travis Head played an inning of 62 runs in 24 balls, Abhishek Sharma played an inning of 63 runs in 23 balls and Heinrich Klaasen played a brilliant inning of 80 runs in 34 balls.
Before the match against Mumbai, no batsman of this team could ever complete a half-century in less than 20 balls, but first Head and then Abhishek achieved this feat in the same match. Abhishek and Head are the first batsmen in IPL history to score half-centuries in less than 20 balls while playing for the same team.
Record of scoring most runs in first 10 overs in IPL
Sunrisers Hyderabad were playing a stormy innings against Mumbai from the very beginning. Sunrisers Hyderabad played fast and scored 148 runs in the first 10 overs. This is the highest score in 10 overs of IPL. Earlier, Punjab Kings had scored 131 runs in the first 10 overs in 2014 and Mumbai Indians in 2021.

Hyderabad had crossed the 200 mark against Mumbai in just 14.4 overs. This is the second fastest double century in IPL history. Before Hyderabad, in 2016, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) had crossed the 200-run mark the fastest in 14.1 overs.

Crossed 500 runs for the first time in IPL
Sunrisers Hyderabad, batting first, scored 277 runs in 20 overs. In response, Mumbai scored 246 runs in 20 overs. Adding the runs of both the innings, the total was 523 runs. This was the first time in IPL history that the total crossed 500.
